Regulatory Affairs Assistant

The Company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start their Regulatory Affairs career with Mirius, a market leading manufacturer of biocides and detergents. Mirius is a well established and respected supplier of cleaning and hygiene products to the Retail, Professional and Veterinary Healthcare sectors. Business growth requires recruitment and expansion of key operations within the company, including our Regulatory Affairs Department.

The Role. The main responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Assistant include:

  • Responsibility for administration tasks and requests within the Regulatory Team to ensure project progression
  • Responsibility for assisting in the creation and maintenance of regulatory documentation for UK, EU, and rest of world
  • Supporting regular internal regulatory system audits
  • Maintaining labelling and safety data sheet databases
  • Submitting Poison Centre notifications
  • Update and maintain regulatory tracking databases
  • Maintain product dossiers in line with applicable legislation
  • Prepare documents for regulatory submissions for product registration
  • Assisting New Product Development and Sales teams with enquiries

Please note, appropriate training and on-going mentoring will be provided.

The Candidate

Ideally applicants for the Regulatory Affairs Assistant role should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or an equivalent qualification in a science related discipline (although appropriate experience will be taken into consideration)
  • Experience of administration
  • Some experience in regulatory affairs would be useful but not essential as training will be provided
  • An interest in Regulatory Affairs, particularly relating to biocides and detergents

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8.30 to 17.00. Consideration can be given to flexible, remote or part-time working for the ideal candidate.
